Note from photographer:
There are only 3 weekends left to see the open house exhibition that I
am involved in. I am showing a new set of portraits, shot in a montage
style, of the people that make Brighton the special place it is, from
journalists to drag queens and paramedics to fashion designers,
they’re all there. So far the only place to see these images is in the
open house, each picture is made up of 5 to 7 real 6″ x 4″ prints
lovingly stuck together by hand without the aid of Photoshop. It’s not
just me in the show my wife Rockcake; and Partially Obscured are also
taking part. Rockcake is showing her jewelery and Partially Obscured,
AKA Su Wilson, is showing her glass work.
Our open house will be open for all of the weekends left in May: 15th,
16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th. We are open from 11am to 6pm.
The show is at :
Flat 8, 72 St George’s Road (opposite the news agent in the new
looking building)
Brighton, BN2 1EF

Our show is under KT9 in the Artists Open Houses brochure. For more

Last Tuesday (the 11th May 2010) us ladies here at Ophelia Fancy decided to show our friend Michael ”Atters” Attree at bit of support at his ATTERS ATTREE’S CHAPORGASMIC TERRORS
at the BRIGHTON FRINGE PREMIER, FREERANGE in BRIGHTON.
This is how we turned up to get the crowd the the mood….

Take a deep breath, and repeat, using your best breathy voice: “Ophelia Fancy”. It’s got a beautiful, mysterious ring to it, don’t you think? (It’s named after our favourite raunchy underwear designer, www.opheliafancy.com). Every inch of this chandelier screams sumptuous detail, with horsetails of black beaded strands handing from each arm, each candle and the central base of the chandelier. The deep-sweeping double necklaces that adjoin each arm are dotted with teardrop black beads, and even the arms themselves are adorned with twists of beaded strands – it really could be a piece of decadent jewellery. Forget swinging from the chandeliers, you’ll want to wear this one!
